Wen it was first announced that London would be hosting the Olympics and Paralympics in 2012 some idea people at Time For God foresaw a great opportunity to get invovled. It has taken some time, thought and hard work but the project is rolling! We have volunteers serving with churches in Islington Plaistow and the parish of Walthamstow and helping the Church of England's Olympic Coordinator and the Barking Area's Adviser for the Olympics. This month we have just welcomed new Time For 2012 volunteers who will be serving in Nottingham, Newcastle, Berkshire and Woodford. It too late to apply for a September start but we are now setting up placements for a final intake of volunteers in January 2012
